PRESIDENTS REPORT
ESSENDON SUPERULES
2009
What a year it’s been !!! AGAIN I think i said
that after last years Premiership !!! To finish second with only 1
loss and win another flag is just unreal. I’d firstly like to
thank all committee members Mark Tymms, Mark Whiting, Connie
O'dea, Peter O'dea, Walrus, Billy Brewer, Natalie Drain for
another fantastic year. Thanks for all your efforts and hard work,
attending our meetings and partying hard at our social functions,
without you guys our club would struggle to exist. We need
more people to help around the club for 2010 especially since we're
entering another team into the competition - you don't have to be
on a committee !!! To all the helpers, supporters, wives,
girlfriends, children, family members that have helped around the
club ( donating items, running out water, doing the scoreboard –
whatever it may have been ) we really appreciate your time and
effort. Big thanks to our Trainers without them we would be lost -
Jim Eastwick, Ricky Sayers, and Jeanette.Thanks to all our
sponsors without your support we would find it very hard to
survive. Also Big thanks to Tymmys and Narts Senior
for helping with team manager duties it really helped a lot.

have been fantastic -

Unsung hero
Willy - he's donated items for best players, raffles and
anything else for years - Fantastic and the Committee really
appreciate Willy's help - MAGNIFICENT and Thanks !!!!!
Chuck & Ross for being our runners in
the Supers & Masters teams you both did a great job during the
season.
Paul Cantarella – SUPERS COACH a
magnificent effort to have coached back to back to back
premierships, the players really enjoy your coaching – great
effort – thanks heaps and let’s see if we can make it 7 out of
8 in 2010 . Thanks for all your efforts over the year and for
all the great premiership memories. Also to Thommo, Todos,
Mick O'dea and Drainy as selectors and leadership group - great
effort guys !!
Willy / Irish – MASTERS COACH's
another magnificent effort to coach the Masters side to a great
result in 2009 - finishing 3rd - if we had of beaten
Beaconsfield in the last game would have finished on top.. I'd
like to say a big thanks for your efforts in coaching Esssendon
even though we sacked you after the last game on the bus home - Gee
that felt good !!!!
MARS – SUPERS ASSISTANT what can I say –
passionate Essendon man through and through – thanks for a great
year on the side lines once again.
Thanks to Alan Chandler, Brad, Quiney &
Jimmy and kiosk girls - and all associated with the
Coburg Districts Football Club, our association has been a huge
success and I hope we have more years together.
Goal Umpires Pearcey and John - you've
been with us for years and we love having you around the club.
I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone ( If I have I’m
really sorry )
